Semi Permanent Eyelashes

Many people go to great lengths to get their lashes to look they way they want. Mascara, eye liner, fake lashes, and other beauty tricks can make lashes look temporarily longer and fuller, but must be removed and re-applied each day. This routine can become tiresome, especially if you have to practically paint your lashes on all the time to make them noticeable.

There are a few alternatives to this process. Some people choose to perm or tint their lashes, while others might try permanent makeup or lash implants. For a solution that will last up to a few months, a growing trend is to get semi-permanent lash extensions.

Semi-permanent lash extensions are lashes that are placed onto your own natural eyelashes to make them fuller, thicker and longer. Instead of simply giving the illusion of long lashes, these semi-permanent lashes actually do extend the length of the lashes.

Are you interested in semi-permanent lashes? Here are some things you will want to remember when considering these lashes as an option:

  • Semi-permanent lashes are a little like fake lashes, but they are attached to your lashes in a way that allows them to stay on for up to two months or more. These lashes are also higher quality than the fake lashes you will find at the store.
  • Semi-permanent lashes can be a little pricey. You will have to pay for the lashes themselves, plus more to have them applied to your natural lashes and for touch-ups.
  • You might want to get your semi-permanent lashes touched up every couple weeks. This makes sure the lashes are still correctly attached and will not come off as quickly. This is necessary because your own lashes are always growing.
  • Because they are bonded to your natural lashes, lash extensions will stay on your eyes during exercise, showers, sweating, and more.
  • If you get semi-permanent lashes for a vacation or special occasion and do not intend to keep semi-the lashes on your eyes for a long time, you will probably want to have them removed after two or three weeks (without any touch-ups). If the lashes are left on without any maintenance, they can start to look uneven or patchy. Make sure you get your semi-permanent lashes removed or touched-up after three weeks.

If you are looking for a semi-permanent option for lengthening and thickening your lashes, semi-permanent lashes are a great alternative to all the mascara and eye liner.
