For those who enjoy Hip Hop music, there is a particular clothing style that can go along with it. Hip Hop is a style of clothing as well as a type of music, and the Hip Hop look has become very popular. Hip Hop is not just a type of music—it has become a culture with many unique characteristics. The Hip Hop culture originated in New York decades ago and has since spread and become popular all over the world.

The Hip Hop style, inspired by Hip Hop music, is a unique look with many fashion options. Shirts, jeans, pants, jewelry, and more come in Hip Hop styles.

In the beginning, Hip Hop style originated around New York City. Eventually, the culture moved to other cities, and Hip Hop fashion changed and expanded.

Over the years, Hip Hop style has gone through many changes. Currently, it is popular to dress in the "old school" style. Many Hip Hop clothing items today are inspired by 1980s fashion.

If you are interested in the Hip Hop style, here are some clothing ideas you might like:

  • Hoodies. Hoodies (also known as hooded sweatshirts) are a popular part of the Hip-Hip style. Either regular or zip-up, many of these hoodies have decorations or writing on them. Hoodies are a quite popular part of many styles today.
  • Shirts. The style of Hip Hop shirts is varied. Tight-fitting tee shirts, polo shirts, button-up shirts and other similar clothing items are all popular Hip Hop styles. Many shirts are fairly short in length, although some are oversized.
  • Pants. Although baggy pants have long been a staple in the Hip Hop clothing style, many people have started to wear tight-fitting and slim-fit denim as well.
  • Shoes. Sneakers and boots are a big part of the Hip Hop style.
  • Accessories. Accessories that are part of Hip Hop fashion include elaborate belt buckles, chains, platinum and gold jewelry, du rags, watches, fancy belts, hats, diamonds, rings, and more. There are a lot of options out thee, so have fun finding the perfect jewelry for you.
  • Popular Brands. There are certain brands and designers that are particularly popular in the Hip Hop culture. Apple Bottom, Baby Phat, South Pole, Sean John, Ecko, and Timberland are just a few of the hot Hip Hop brands out there.

You can put together a unique look using the Hip Hop style. Have fun selecting the perfect clothes and accessories for your own personal style.
