Sometimes do you feel like your legs look like a Muppet's? Hair grows all over our bodies and in accordance with our culture and beauty expectations women especially do not care for any except the hair on their heads. Hairy legs are some of the hardest parts to deal with because they're so visible all the time. Whether you want to rid yourself of prickly leg hair or just simply hide it, there are always solutions for your Muppet legs.
The simplest solution in dealing with hairy legs is just covering them up. In the wintertime especially I can go for weeks at a time without shaving because no one sees or touches my legs. If you wear jeans most of the time or simply things that cover your legs, then actually removing the hair is not necessary (but if you feel the personal need to do so, then by all means go right ahead). Removing the hair from your legs (for women anyway) is such a part of our beauty culture that many times we don't even think about it. There are a few different solutions, all of which are quite easy and really come down to personal preference.
Shaving is of course the most common way of removing leg hair and probably the most mindless if you ask me. Shaving for me is just a part of my routine that I hardly even think about. It's relatively quick and easy, and once it's built into your routine you don't even have to concentrate on it.
Another way to de-hair your legs is with waxing. This is for people who don't want to bother with shaving their legs every couple of days and don't mind a week or so of pretty hairy legs before the next wax. Waxing does take a bit more time out of your day when you actually do it and it necessitates remembering; it does however take up less time than if you shaved an extra five minutes in the shower, but you do have to clear a space in your schedule every time you need a wax.
The aforementioned tactics are definitely the most common techniques used to remove hair, but there are a few other commercialized products that claim excellent results at hair removal. Products like EpilStop and others of the like destroy the hair follicle, rendering it supposedly more effective than waxing. These creams are usually a bit more on the pricey side and (while I've never tried a product myself) are said to hurt your legs initially.
There are also other more permanent methods of hair removal like laser removal, but on an entire leg, that's just ridiculous. I think most of us can concur that hairy legs are not attractive and that we don't desire the Muppet leg look. Fortunately there is a myriad of solutions that can aid you in your quest for conquering hairy legs!
