Benefits of Mineral Makeup

As we progress into the twenty-first century, it's interesting to see how standards of beauty change and how methods of effecting beauty change. A couple of different trends are currently mainstream, and one of them focuses on the natural look. Natural beauty is what many are striving to emphasize right now, trying to oppose the plastic look of makeup that some women effect in their makeup. Mineral makeup is one way to make your look more natural, and will ultimately bring out your own individual beauty.

One of the characteristics of mineral makeup is its toned-down style. The hues in the color s of mineral makeup usually have an "earthier" look to them, and tend to not be very bright. There are still colors, of course, but the colors have a much more natural tone and quality to them. The point in this is simply to allow your natural coloring to come through; always remember that the purpose of makeup should be to enhance your facial features, not change or alter them. Makeup should enhance and add to, not mask.

Mineral makeup is finer than other makeup and works better to even out your skin tone. The fine makeup makes your skin look and feel better, giving you an overall more polished and refined look. Makeup that looks caked on is not very attractive and definitely does not serve the purpose of enhancing your already beautiful features. Mineral makeup is and looks natural, helping you avoid that "Hello I'm wearing lots of makeup" look.

Another quality boasted of regarding mineral makeup is its benefits to the skin and complexion. Mineral makeup comes from the earth and from all natural materials, and so it's aimed at improving the quality of your skin. Mineral makeup is free of all the dyes and preservatives found in other cosmetics, and because of that lack of unnatural materials, the makeup will improve your skin and make it healthier.

Mineral makeup sees the problems associated with society's current standards of beauty and seeks to reform society's eyes. Natural beauty is the aim of mineral makeup, and should ultimately be the aim of all makeup. Mineral makeup makes you look and feel better, helping you better achieve that goal of being naturally beautiful.

I found out I am allergic to mineral makeup. The ingredient in Bare Essentials, bismuth oxylchloride, it is a ground up metal. Which 75% of people are allergic to. It made my face itch, and redden my cheeks. Became really uncomfortable when you get sweaty, or heated. When I contacted their consultant, she told me that it was the makeup moving around on my face to reset itself.
Since I switched to a makeup (liquid) without hat ingredient. No more itching , and no more red cheeks.
Also, have heard that mineral makeup , could damage your lungs from being inhaled.
