What are Sedu Hair Straighteners?

Summary: Sedu is still a very new term in the mainstream society and so many still ask: what is it? This revolutionary hair straightener, endorsed by Hollywood celebrities, is just beginning to take the hair world by storm and its new technology offers many new promises for your hair.

Sedu is slowly revolutionizing the hair world by promising looks like those of Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez. These flat irons are supposedly the best in the industry and at least by their price, surpass all other straighteners. So then, what is a Sedu straightener and how does it work? What makes it the best of the best and worth over $100?

All hair straighteners operate off of heat to flatten the hair and straighten out curls. However this heat can damage the hair and leave it dry, brittle, and fly-away, a far cry from your idealized sleek, smooth, and straight look. The key to Sedu straighteners is the technology behind it. All Sedu straighteners have ceramic plates, but unlike other ceramic straighteners Sedu contains the mineral tourmaline that gives it its special magic. The tourmaline emits negatively charged ions that better tame the hair. This way the heat doesn't damage the hair nearly as much as heat from a regular straight iron does. Sedu flat irons actually help hair maintain moisture and stay smooth, sleek, and shiny, making the ideal look truly possible.

Now the question is: do you really need a Sedu straightener? The answer to that essentially is no, you do not absolutely need a Sedu flat iron to achieve the polished straight hair you want. I've had problems with dry hair in the past and at the same time I do love to straighten my hair. It's a quandary that's sometimes hard to solve without spending over $100 for a straightener. If you take care to properly moisturize your hair, then straightening it without fly-aways shouldn't be a problem. I put a leave-in conditioner for about 15 minutes after I shower and that makes my hair smooth and moisturizes it so I don't have a problem with static or dryness.

Sedu straighteners carry some of the more advanced technology in the hair industry and it most definitely works; however if you won't or can't spend $100 or more on a hair straightener then you can always rely on proper hair care and moisturizing to produce very similar results.
